Position title: Sales Executive
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Identify new business opportunities by identifying prospects and analyzing sales options.
Pro-actively search, qualify, develop and engage into new customer relationships.
Schedule and make regular external sales visits, as well as take part in community events and attend trade exhibitions that increase visibility within designated markets.
Lead and coordinate contract negotiations for a successful close.
Meet monthly sales revenue targets.
Develop, implement, and maintain sales records, activities and plans.
Provide regular reports to management regarding volume and sales.
Maintain relationship with clients by providing support, information, and guidance.
Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Identify improvements in service by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
“Can do” approach to any other task as assigned by the Management.
Core Competencies & Skills Required:
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Good presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
At least 2 – 3 years’ experience in Freight Forwarding Sales.
Have a consultative sales approach / negotiator, forward thinker and a team player.
Has strong knowledge of Shipping Line’s products and services.
Has knowledge about import and export procedure of goods and documentations used.
Strong background and understanding in customer service principles.
Ability to research, conducts cold outreach, and creates new opportunities.
Willingness and ability to travel 60 – 70 % of the time.
Proficient in English & Urdu along with MS Word & Excel.
